At ees in Munich 2018 we presented several GREENROCK innovations and gained great interest. Here is a brief overview of our variouse developments.
Innovation 1: Second generation of saltwater batteries
We succeeded in increasing the capacity of saltwater batteries from 2.2 kWh to 2.7 kWh with almost the same dimensions. In addition, the new AIB (Aqueouse Ion Exchange) battery offers an even wider temperature range from -5 ° C to 50 ° C. Especially for installations in hot climates, saltwater technology offers a safe, environmentally friendly and robust alternative to conventional battery technologies. For installation, no special building regulations have to be observed. Transportation and storage are carried out as harmless merchandise. There are no restrictions imposed by the Hazardous Goods Transport Regulations (ADR). Find out more about the second generation of saltwater batteries here.
Innovation 2: GREENROCK all-over-system for private installations from 5 kWh - 30 kWh
GREENROCK is our popular, ready to install all-over storage system. The system is pre-installed and is automatically emergency-current-capable. An option as an isolated off grid solution is also provided. The size of the storage systems could be extended to 30 kWh. Now GREENROCK salt water storage systems are available from 5kWh - 30kWh scalable.
Innovation 3: GREENROCK all-over-system for industrial solutions from 30 kWh - 180 kWh
Due to the great demand, GREENROCK complete storage systems are now available for commercial solutions as a pre-installed all-over-system. These systems allow easy setup and fast installation. Supplied in pallet units, the saltwater batteries can be easily placed and stacked with a fork lift. The electronics are placed in a closed power cabinet which is also set up with a fork lift. Placing, plugging in and saving power, it’s that easy.
Innovation 4: Intelligent Energy Management System (EMS)
An intelligent energy management system is available for all our GREENROCK installations. Self-consumption can be optimized and up to 30% energy saved. Integrate heat pumps, heating element, e-charging station, radio-controlled sockets or even a generator into your GREENROCK system. The system coordinates the ideal time and load / unload value for the connected consumers. Of course, all values are presented in a graphic presentation. You always know where your GREENROCK EMS saves energy for you.
Innovation 5: Saltwater battery with 12Volt for small applications
In addition to our salt water batteries with 48V and 24V with each 2.7 kWh capacity there is now a small storage unit with 12 volts available. With 675 Wh capacity, it is perfect for various micro solutions. Fields of application are for example: alpine huts, allotments, supplies for pasture fences and much more .
Innovation 6: GREENROCK Solar Power Island Package
A complete package including PV panel, 675 Wh saltwater storage and charge controller makes your own self-sufficient island system complete. Provide your summer house with electric power. Electric light, charging your cell phone and cool drinks from the refrigerator will make your stay convenient.
